Game and educational content

Understone combines public clues, resource planning and gemstone collection. Mineral descriptions and references support learning; game costs, rarity, values and map distributions are game rules and are not real-world mineral prices, mining instructions or safety advice. Educational descriptions can contain inaccuracies or simplifications; verify important real-world information independently.

Trial and full access

The opening district’s three floors and first camp are free to play. Continuing beyond that camp requires the one-time non-consumable full-game unlock through Apple. The full expedition spans eight districts and 24 floors; this is not a subscription. Apple displays the applicable offer and price and handles payment. Restore Purchases checks the eligible Apple Account’s valid entitlement; a pending, refunded or revoked transaction does not itself guarantee access. A price or currency change may require review of the new offer. Refund requests follow Apple’s process and applicable law; mandatory consumer rights remain available.

Local progress and retries

Failure can roll back the current floor attempt to its entry state and generate a new map. Replacement expeditions and deleted saves may not be recoverable. Keep device access secure and consider your backup settings. Restoring an entitlement does not recreate local progress.

Licence and intellectual property

For App Store downloads, Apple’s Standard EULA governs the app licence unless a custom EULA is provided for your country or region through App Store Connect. These Terms supplement the applicable EULA and govern the app's features, content and paid entitlements, where offered. Subject to that agreement and these terms, IDEASpike grants you a limited, personal and non-transferable licence to use the game for its intended purpose. IDEASpike and its licensors retain all rights in the app, software, design, artwork, music and supplied content, subject to identified third-party licences.

Responsible use

Use the game lawfully, respect its content licenses and do not interfere with its operation or purchase verification. Learning and play outcomes are not guaranteed. Features depend on supported devices and Apple services.

Availability and your rights

IDEASpike may update, suspend or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, the game is provided as available without additional warranties beyond those expressly stated in these terms or required by law, and IDEASpike is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from local-progress loss, interruption or reliance on educational content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Updated terms appear here. Contact support@ideaspike.com for assistance.
