What Final Curtain does
Final Curtain is a local time-reflection app. It estimates remaining time from a birth date and a horizon you choose, and lets you explore recurring activities, large time blocks, reserves and separate profiles. It does not predict lifespan.
Information on your device
Birth dates, profile names, chosen horizons, activity names and amounts, retirement or graduation assumptions, and block/reserve settings are stored on the current device. The selected horizon is shared locally with the widget through an Apple App Group. The app has no separate app account, custom backend or app-provided cloud synchronization.
Optional on-device AI
On supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled, a summary can use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models. The app does not send your allocation list to IDEASpike or an OpenAI cloud API. If that model is unavailable, it provides a local template-based reflection. Generated text can be inaccurate and is not a diagnosis or prediction.
Apple purchases and services
Apple processes the optional widget-unlock purchase. StoreKit provides product and purchase-entitlement information; we do not receive payment-card details. Apple’s App Store, TestFlight and device services operate under Apple’s own policies. Feedback that you voluntarily send through TestFlight may be visible to the developer.
Storage and your choices
You can remove activities, clear a list, edit assumptions and delete additional profiles in the app. At least one profile remains. Removing the app removes its app-local files; device backups may retain copies according to your Apple/device backup settings. We do not provide cross-device recovery or remote deletion of your backups. Anyone able to open the app on your unlocked device can see its profiles.
Website and contact
Opening legal or reference links contacts the destination website. Hosting providers receive ordinary web-request information such as IP addresses. Information you choose to email to support is used to respond to your request. The app does not include advertising or developer-added tracking/analytics SDKs.
